Announcing AgenticCon San Francisco

Published on

We're super excited to announce AgenticCon, a brand new conference for AI platform teams, coming to San Francisco. Every business unit is shipping agents now, and somebody has to build the foundation they all run on at enterprise scale. That team, the AI platform team,  is forming right now inside large organizations, and it deserves its own room.

The event will take place on 25 February 2027 at Convene 100 Stockton.

The focus topic will be "Building the platform the agentic enterprise runs on" and will go into detail on how to build and run the shared agent infrastructure every team in your company depends on, whether they build in engineering, sales, finance or operations, at scale.

We will be covering topics like how to design the gateway and runtimes agents run in, how to build context and retrieval that survives production, when to build, buy or self-host your models, how to make evaluation a gate the platform enforces, how to give agents their own identity and keep an audit trail, and what the token bill looks like once every business unit is spending it.

Throughout talks, workshops and roundtables, we will together map all of this onto one reference architecture, so you leave knowing which layer you own and what to build first. And because the technology is only half the job, we'll spend just as much time on the other half: how an AI platform team forms, who staffs it, how it wins the ownership question, how workflows roll out to hundreds of users, and why most attempts fail. That takes us straight back to the fundamentals of platform engineering, retold for people who never had to care about an IDP.

We'll hear from the people running agent infrastructure for hundreds of internal users today, and from the ones who tried and pulled the plug. The good, the bad and the ugly.

If you own your company's agent infrastructure, or you're about to be handed it, this is a must-attend. That goes for heads of AI platform and AI infrastructure, applied AI and LLMOps leaders  and AI platform engineers, and just as much for heads of platform engineering, infrastructure and cloud who are quietly becoming the AI platform team without the title yet.

Tickets are on sale now. Early bird pricing ends October 9.

The call for proposals is open. We already have some absolute goats confirmed, like Nancy Wang, CTO of 1Password, Patrick Debois, who coined DevOps and now builds at Tessl, and Aaron Erickson, founder of NVIDIA's Applied AI Lab, but the CfP remains open until October 4! The bar is narrow on purpose: you run agent infrastructure for hundreds of internal users today, and you can tell us what it cost, what you stopped doing and what failed. We are especially after the talks nobody volunteers for, the rollout that stalled and the program that got cancelled.

See you in San Francisco. Get your ticket now.
