Aaron Erickson

Aaron built the Internal Developer Platform (IDP) at Salesforce. Today he is an advisor and consultant to teams implementing their own IDP. Prior to his current work, he was VP of Engineering at New Relic, a Senior Director of Product at Salesforce, and the GM for Western US at ThoughtWorks. When Aaron isn’t deploying new software capabilities, he spends time in his garden growing tomatoes, doing Portuguese lessons, and advocating for affordable housing in San Francisco. He is also the author of The Nomadic Developer, a book about the business of technology consulting.
